Demetrios is a Greek/Cypriot who grew up and studied in London, he received a BA Hons degree in fashion an he was recruited by an international designer named John Galliano.
He then was passionate about drawing and painting and was inspired to change his path and moved to New York after 2 years. He made his own studio and a portfolio of publications he would contribute to Vogue, Bazaar, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and in additions seasonal Ad Campaigns Barney’s New York, Bergdorf Goodman and Macy’s.
After four years in New York he returned to London as a weekly contribute to the Times magazine and to Vogue. He has made collaborations with Nigella Lawson’s food and lifestyle and that developed him getting into animation. He associated with channel 4 and created an opening title for “Nigella Bites” a cookery program and series two of “Forever summer.”
He then started to do product/packaging design with the Ritzen group creating a range of work (such as vases, champagne glasses, ash trays and watches.) His work is very playful and vibrant from the use of color and patterns.
