Signs and language

In one of our briefs we have to collect visual evidence of the signs that surround us in our daily lives such as shop signs, road signs, graffiti, adverts/flyers and food packaging.

We had to think about why the sign is placed this way, does the sign works, and what kind of people read the sign and do you think it works.

Last Thursday i went within the local universe and outside the universe and collected examples of signage. The next day after we gathered and showed what we’ve collected and recorded so far.

It was interesting to see what everyone has seen and what catches their eye, after we watched a short film called Logorama which gives a message on how logos and brands are around us.
To end the day we learnt how to use Risograph printer so if we want to experiment more on our work we are always welcome to use them
